Payments and Insurance

We accept private insurance and participate in most Employee Assistance Programs (EAP). A self-pay option is also available for persons interested. If you have no insurance or a very high deductible, then you may want to consider scheduling with one of the P-LPC's listed under the PROVIDERS PAGE. Since we now use the recommended Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, we recommend each client have a credit card connected to their secure portal for ease of payment. If another method is needed, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

Prior to the first session with the therapist, please verify your eligibility and benefits so that you will have a clear understanding of what your insurance will and will not cover.

Regardless of the information the insurance company shares with us concerning the benefits, it will ultimately be your financial responsibility to pay for any services not covered by the plan. As a courtesy to our clients, we will file insurance claims for payment. If there is any remaining balance due to Count It All Joy Counseling (CIAJ), an invoice will be emailed to the appropriate financially responsible party. If payment isn’t received within thirty days of the invoice date, CIAJ reserves the right to take appropriate advanced measures to collect payment owed.

Insurance Accepted:

BCBS, Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare, UMR, Ambetter, Medicaid, and Cigna. We also accept some EAPs. Schedule a consult to discuss your options.
